The rock skipper or Sabah splash frog, Staurois latopalmatus (Boulenger, 1887) – of Sarawak / Borneo – around 350m ASL

S. latopalmatus is a frog that is difficult to photograph, they sit on stones in rivers with strong currents and wait there for food. At the slightest danger they immediately jump into the water and dive down into the current. The fleeing distance is often significantly less than 4 meters.
