Termites of the species Longipeditermes longipes (Haviland, 1898) – central Sarawak / Borneo around 300m ASL

These termites can be found throughout Sarawak in the lowlands. The soldiers are easy to recognize and can be observed well in the morning or at night while the workers are foraging.
